GO Telecom Group Launches GO AI Hub Platform and Silicon Valley Innovation Center to Accelerate Saudi Arabia’s Digital Transformation

GO Telecom Signs Framework Agreement with Syrian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology to Drive Digital Infrastructure Development

GO Telecom (Etihad Atheeb) has signed a framework agreement with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of the Syrian Arab Republic, during the Saudi-Syrian Investment Forum in Damascus, to deliver an integrated technology project aimed at developing digital infrastructure and enhancing e-government services.

Under the agreement, GO Telecom will establish two data centers (primary and backup), provide a flexible cloud infrastructure, and build a digital platform for government services. The project also includes setting up a cybersecurity center and launching training programs to develop local technical talent.

Dr. Essa bin Yeslam Ba’essa, Chairman of GO Telecom, said:
"Technology is a key driver of stability and development. This agreement reflects the Kingdom’s and its national companies’ commitment to sharing digital expertise with brotherly nations. We are proud to contribute to this technological transformation in Syria."

Yahya bin Saleh Al-Mansour, CEO of GO Telecom, added:
"This agreement aligns with GO’s vision to become a comprehensive provider of digital solutions across the region. The Syrian market represents a strategic opportunity to build a robust digital infrastructure powered by local talent. Through cloud computing, cybersecurity, e-government automation, and service quality solutions, this project will enhance efficiency and accelerate processes. Digital transformation is no longer optional – it is essential for reconstruction and building a modern state."

GO Telecom emphasized that the agreement comes as part of its regional expansion strategy, supported by its subsidiary Ejad Tech, and reflects its commitment to exporting national expertise in technology and digital transformation. The initiative aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to increase the contribution of the non-oil sector to the national economy.

The agreement also underscores the Kingdom’s commitment—under the guidance of its wise leadership—to strengthening cooperation with brotherly nations and advancing strategic partnerships in technology and the economy. This milestone deepens the ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Syrian Arab Republic while opening new horizons for developmental integration across the region, based on a shared vision rooted in innovation, progress, and future foresight.
